7-7-7 Meme

I’ve just started the 7-7-7 meme on Facebook and Twitter and am sharing here as well.
Here’s the idea: Go to either page 7 or 77 of your manuscript. Count down 7 lines, then copy the next 7 lines to your status. After that, name 7 more authors to come out and play.

This is from my current unedited YA WIP Sirens of Santorini.

I dive under, the water bubbles streaming behind me and open my eyes. Rays of light pierce the inky blue water and as the sun rises higher I can see movement and magic in the water. I move through the water close to the sea bed and search for starfish. I follow the coral glow right through to aquamarine hues and a trail of pearly opalescent shells until I remember I have to breathe. I start to paddle for the surface but my foot is caught on something slimy, seaweed, I think. I break the surface of the water spouting a spray of water like a baby whale and float on my back scanning the clouds for stories like I did with Mum when I was a kid. My ears, partly submerged in the water block the outside world but I can still hear those whispering voices calling me from deep beneath.
